The Red Farmer, played by a professional actor, will regale you with stories and anecdotes about Glottertal and the Black Forest. In the company of the Red Farmer, you can visit an original Black Forest cheesery where you will have an opportunity to learn how delicious cheese is made from milk. Tasting is naturally allowed! But it is not only cheese that is stored in Glottertal for purposes of aging. Wines also need time before they taste good. You will find out more about this when you visit the wine cellar of the Glottertal Winegrowers Association. From here, the Red Farmer will accompany you to an orchard distillery where you see how spirits are made. Tasting and purchasing allowed! You can also find out the latest dramatic developments in the home of the world famous “Black Forest Clinic.” Come and enjoy local hospitality and excellent regional cooking at one of the pleasant inns of “Gastliches Glottertal”, the local association of certified inns.
